Turning Point

This tall granite work was publicly opened in Salisbury marketplace in October 2022, coinciding with an exhibition of drawing and sculpture at the Young Gallery. The piece was created to mark the 800th anniversary of Salisbury Cathedral and also reflects upon the city’s recent recovery from the Novichok poisoning.

Given new significance following the challenges of Covid-19, Turning Point was intended as a marker of confidence in a new future.
